No. Hockware is strictly Software as a Service (SaaS) and
independent of hardware. Our platform runs on any connected
device such as a tablet, phone, laptop or desktop that
can access the internet.
Yes, your desktop or laptop will connect to a thermal printer
allowing you to print branded receipts that contain your logo.
We do not sell thermal printers or any other hardware, but will
provide instructions where to purchase them (Approx. $150 USD)
and how to set them up. Some thermal printers can also run on
Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, therefore not requiring a USB cable.
Yes! 100%. Your proprietary restaurant business
data will be maintained on a secure SSL Certified
server with a Web Application Firewall (WAF) and
HTTPS encryption. You and only you will have total
access to download it into XLS spreadsheets and/or
delete any part of it.
Yes, our platform is hardware independent and runs on any connected
device such as a tablet, mobile phone, laptop or desktop, regardless
if Apple or Android or Windows or Linux operating system. If you
can access the internet with a device, then you can use our platform.
All industry leaders across all industries will be technology
companies that use deep data collection and analytics combined
with AI to maintain a competitive edge. Restaurants are not
exempt from this universal rule.
Hockware uses a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
powered Large Language Model (LLM) based Artificial
Intelligence (AI). It is like having a personalized
knowledgebase containing all of your private restaurant
business data collected from daily operations offered
to you in incredibly pertinent and insightful ways. You
no longer need to sift through countless spreadsheets to find answers.
Hockware works in multiple languages simultaneously. For example,
FOH waiter might speak Filipino as her native language, and so
therefore use the system displayed in Filipino while taking
customers order. The customer might want something clarified,
the waiter can change the display language into their native
language, say Russian, and show them the digital menu in that
language. Then the order gets placed and sent to BOH kitchen,
where it is automatically converted to the Chef's native
language, which is Spanish.
Essentially, when you purchase stock ingredients, you can take
a photo of the receipt and upload it into our system, which then
reads it and makes sense of it using Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
It will match it with existing inventory and report any shortcomings.
For example, you buy a case of 24 Cokes, upload an image of the receipt
into Hockware and it immediately tells you - "You currently should
have 5 Cokes left in the fridge. 24 new Cokes have been added, therefore
you should now have a total of 29 cokes".
